Indonesia Labor Law Consultant Association (ILLCA), chaired by Dr. Ike Farida, S.H., L.L.M. In Jakarta, said they were ready to supervise the OMNIBUS LAW initiated by the Governmentin Job Creation, which aimed to support the national economic growth. Dr. Farida said, "ILLCA is ready to supervise the government and the parliament both in providing advice, public hearing and providing data or case studies or comparisons with several countries that have been researched by ILLCA".
On December 12, 2019, where the Government launched the Omnibus Law on Job Creation which consists of 11 clusters. Where in the Omnibus Law process, the Government must integrate 82 Laws and 1,194 Articles into the Omnibus Law for Job Creation. Omnibus Law functions to homogenize central and regional policies, laws and regulations below so that they do not overlap, oppose/disrupt laws and rules below (both vertical and horizontal).
Moreover, the ILLCA Statement on Omnibus Law Employment includes 6 important points, which are Minimum Wages, Outsourcing, Foreign Workers, Severance, Work Hours, and Sanctions ILLCA requests that the government and the parliament must be extra careful in establishing the laws, not harm of one party, and must be flexible and not rigid
